Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is a broadcast journalist from America. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, who covered each of the US House and Senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional activities, like the talks to raise the ceiling on federal debt and the super committee's discussions. As an assignment reporter for general assignments she covered news like the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she was a reporter for breaking news and also produced feature-length reports for over 800 CNN Newsource members.
