Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 Hereford, England) is a English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop tunes "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and knack for writing emotionally honest songs is what makes her stand out. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she was preparing the launch of her debut album.
